Last April 21, 2009, despite the jet lag and the limited time to rehearse, Bulyaw Mariguen wowed the audience at the HATAWAN SA TUGTUGAN Rock band Competition organized by Life Church held at Mendoza Park. Matinlo productions is a DTI-Registered Puerto Princesa-based production company that produces, sources funds, finances, promotes and distributes film, audio & video products which aim to promote and enrich Palawan's cultural heritage. Its first project is the production of the FIRST ORIGINAL FILIPINO-CUYONO ROCK ALBUM of the Cuyono Rock Band-Bulyaw Mariguen and the promotion of the album through the production of Bulyaw Mariguen's music videos, the facilitation of Bulyaw Mariguen's TV& radio guestings, and concerts and the setting up of their online sites.
Matinlo in the Cuyono language means 'pleasing to the senses and the mind.'
