Bulyaw Mariguen Supports Cuyonon Culture Development by Performing at the Cuyonon Baragatan 2009 in Manila

Last August 30, 2009, Bulyaw Mariguen performed not only their own rock compositions but also played Cuyono folk songs to support the Cuyonon Baragatan 2009 organized with the following objectives in mind...

To preserve and promote the Cuyono culture, heritage and language
To promote a closer bond among Cuyonons despite being far away from home
To contribute to the upliftment of Cuyo
To give recognition to deserving Cuyonons for their remarkable achievements to make our country and the world a better place to live; worthy of emulation and inspiration to the younger Cuyonon generations

Matinlo productions is a DTI-Registered Puerto Princesa-based production company that produces, sources funds, finances, promotes and distributes film, audio & video products which aim to promote and enrich Palawan's cultural heritage. Its first project is the production of the FIRST ORIGINAL FILIPINO-CUYONO ROCK ALBUM of the Cuyono Rock Band-Bulyaw Mariguen and the promotion of the album through the production of Bulyaw Mariguen's music videos, the facilitation of Bulyaw Mariguen's TV& radio guestings, and concerts and the setting up of their online sites.
